Spanish-American War
Bedford County Pennsylvania Soldiers, 1898


The county furnished no unit for the Spanish-American War. However, eight or ten men from the county fought in that war with Company E, 2nd Virginia Regiment from Lynchburg. No memorial has been erected for these men. (as of 1979)
